Grandma Moe's Original Recipe

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fry sausage.
  2. Put water and oil in large pot.
  3. Saute onion, garlic, parsley, red pepper.
  4. Once onions are soft, add chopped meat and brown.
  5. Add tomato puree, 1 cup water, salt, and oregano.
  6. Cover and cook over medium heat for 1 hour (at least). The more you cook, the more flavor you get. Keep monitoring the sauce: if it thickens too much, add a little more water.
