Stuffed Artichokes

Grandma Moe's Original Recipe



  1. Cut off tips of leaves (about 3/4 inch from top)
  2. Rinse in cold water
  3. Put upside down on a table and squeeze downward (leaves open)
  4. Stuff breadcrumb topping into all leaves
  5. Put in pan or pot
  6. Add water (about 1 1/2 inches high)
  7. Sprinkle with oil, cover, and steam
  8. As soon as water boils, lower flame and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes
  9. Make sure there is always water in the pan
